A quote from "The Power Of One" - 'A waterfall starts but with one drop, and look what becomes of that.' 1. What do you think the quote means?I think this quote means that if you want something to happen, you have to start by doing small things, which will slowly spread to the people around you. This creates the opportunity for you to do bigger things, and the others would follow. This cycle goes on and if you don't give up, your ambition would eventually be fulfilled.
2. Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Why?I agree with this statement because when things change, it's usually because of one person. That one person will then start striving for his goal; eventually people will start helping him along the way, and his dream would be able to turn into reality.
3. How does this link with the topic 'A Fair World'?'A Fair World' refers to everyone living fair and equally. For example, all people have equal rights, are able to obtain their standard needs without any difficulty, etc. Unfortunately this does not apply to everyone in reality. True, there are lots of people who have access to these priorities, but there are even more people who don't. In order to help the less fortunate, someone has to make a move first, then other people will eventually start contributing efforts; that way, it will be possible to make a change for the less fortunate. This is the same as the quote from "The Power Of One": 'A waterfall starts but with one drop, and look what becomes of that.'
